Easy Blender Cleaning Solution You Can Make At Home
This blender cleaning solution is more of a simple collection of things you may have around your home anyway, and works well at really getting into the blades and small parts of the inside of your blender. You will need the following items to make your blender cleaning solution:
- 2 Small Lemons, Skin on, cut in half and quartered
- Liquid Dish Soap
- Distilled White Vinegar
- Warm Water
Step 1 — Throw the lemon pieces into your blender
Step 2 — Add just a single drop of liquid dish soap into the blender
Step 3 — Sprinkle a little distilled white vinegar into the mix
Step 4 — Pour in enough warm water to fill the blender 1/4 of the way.
Now just whirl away for up to a minute to allow the cleaning power of the soap and lemons grind away any dirt or bacteria that is in the blender. Once sufficiently blended, dump out the mixture and fill with clean hot water 3/4 of the way full. Blend again for 30 seconds to rinse the blender. Repeat the rinsing process again if necessary.
